AMENDMENT IV
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
I love to travel and plan on doing it the rest of my life. What I don’t love though, is going through the TSA security and having the Federal Government violate my rights protected by the Fourth Amendment. The Bill of Rights seems to not matter anymore to our power hungry government trying to control our lives under the banner of “security” (it’s for our own safety right?)
I flew out to Seattle this morning, and it kills me seeing government regulations interfering with private business. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for Airport security, I just hate that the federal government is doing it. Anytime the government gets involved in something efficiency goes WAY down, and price usually goes way up. I’m all for security and all that stuff to make sure I have a safe flight, but it violates my Fourth Amendment Right when the government TSA agents search me unlawfully as if I am a criminal. If airlines want security for their customers then they should hire them, not let my tax dollars do it for 7x’s the cost.

The free market will always provide the toughest regulations for business and business is best when the customer is in charge, not the government trying to take charge. I would much rather fly with an airline who promised me, “10 minutes from your car to your seat.” Now that is customer service! I would much rather pay less money on my flight, and go through less security, than than be felt up by a government employee.
Needless to say I did get stopped by the faithful TSA as they wanted to make sure my company’s projector did not have any explosives in it. Give me a break! What has happened to liberty? What has happened to Freedom? What has happened to America.
It’s our job to disrupt the path of tyrany in this next generation. America has got to get back to what makes her shine.

I say elect Dr. Ron Paul as our President and he WILL follow the Constitution and has a record to prove it.

Dr. Paul is the best candidate in 2012 by far! He knows what to do and is the only one who has the fortitude to do it. Ron Paul 2012!
